Catholic Schools Week 2019

Catholic Schools Week is Sunday, January 27 through Sunday, February 1, 2019.   This week-long event is a national, annual celebration of the important role that Catholic elementary and secondary schools across the country play in providing a values-added education for America's young people.

This year’s theme is Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.   The 2019 theme encompasses several concepts that are at the heart of a Catholic education. First, schools are communities—small families in their own right, but also members of the larger community of home, church, city and nation. Faith, knowledge and service are three measures by which any Catholic school can and should be judged.

Please attend our opening day festivities on Sunday, January 27 at Christ the King Parish.  Our celebration will begin with an opening Mass at 9:00 AM, followed by a pancake breakfast(8-11:30am) in the school cafeteria and an open house from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  If you are attending mass with your children, we kindly ask that you have your children wear their school uniforms.  This is a great way to show school spirit and it demonstrates your CKRS pride!

We are looking forward to celebrating with you and your family!
